During this second quarter of the year, IT public sector spending have seen a decrease by a fifth of its IT jobs postings. Job boards are however witnessing a very considerable increase in terms of the contract job postings.

Since the announcement of public sector jobs cuts, IT permanent vacancies job postings have also dropped. However, the trend is not including IT contracts positions in the public sector that still shows a relatively dynamic activity.

When it comes to sectors such as finance or media, the trend differs and shows a very respectable and steady growth of an average of 10% which keeps the overall IT market with fantastic opportunities particularly for the flexible ones who are eager to take on IT contract works.
