KPMG adds more IT capabilities

05 October 2011
Business consultancy KPMG has strengthened its IT advisory services to clients through the acquisition of UK management consultancy Xantus.

Xantus will add to KPMG's IT capabilities, supporting clients in FTSE 100 companies and businesses in the private and public sector.

Bryan Cruickshank, head of IT Advisory at KPMG explained, the move was taken to improve the quality of consulting advice of KPMG to its clients.

“Xantus is a leading player with top class credentials and an impressive client portfolio," he added.

"We believe there is a great fit between KPMG and Xantus in terms of calibre of people and of clients, and a sense of shared values. Together, we can bring our clients insights that genuinely help them achieve their goals," he added.

KPMG publishes monthly reports on the UK's jobs market with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, which regularly shows strong demand for IT jobs among employers.
