Interview with James Wellbrook Account Manager

When did you join Randstad Technologies?
In 2006 as a Resourcer and I moved to an Account Manager role In 2010.

What does your current role involve?

I am now managing 3 major accounts, overseeing all recruitment of new IT contractors and managing and developing long term relationships with the clients and existing contractor base.

How have you developed throughout your career with Randstad?
Motivation and drive to succeed is something I feel I have always had, I just feel with Randstad that I have had the opportunity to put that into my work and directly enjoy the outcomes. The development of my career from a successful Resourcer into an Account Manager has strengthened my client focus and enabled me to work closer with my team to meet the needs of our clients.

What’s different about Randstad?
The people. All aspects and challenges of work are that much easier to tackle when you have a friendly and supportive team and atmosphere to work within.

What do you most enjoy about your current role?
Freedom to manage my desk in my own way and to be able to build relationships with clients through my own style of working. I also enjoy working with my team, we are a tight group who have been working with each other for a number of years. This allows us to remain adaptable and successful to everyday challenges and the varying demands of high volume clients.
